This PDF contains three different sets of Counting Strips to 10. These strips include coloured circles, footballs and images of the Sneaky Criminals from the Number Fun Portal.
Note: Each strip is deliberately colour coded into two fives.
Ideas for Use:
1: Counting: Children count the sheep on the Counting Strip
2: Counters: Children place counters (objects) on top of the images in the counting strip, counting and totalling as they go.
3: Songs: Children use counters on their counting strip to represent the action in a Number Fun song!
Page 3: Farmer Pete’s Sheep: Cover the sheep with a counter as Pete loses them!
Page 4: My Football Team: Use double-sided counters to partition the footballs that represent the 10 players required by the captain.
Page 5: Cover up the criminals as Number Bond finds them!
