This extensive set of cards features the key number and calculation facts and definitions your children need to know. By facts, we are not referring to knowing Number Bonds, e.g. 6 + 4 = 10. This list of facts and definitions refer to key vocabulary and conceptual understanding that underpin number and calculation.
See Page 2 of this document for a full list of cards. In the top right hand corner of each card we have noted the year group in which these definitions should be introduced. Children will obviously need to know those from previous years. The title Y3+ refers to all year groups from Year 3 onwards.
Ideas for Use:
1: For inclusion in teaching presentations.
2: For displaying on mathematics working walls.
3: Printing out, cutting up and laminating to create a cool set of trading cards. Children can challenge each other to remember facts and definitions.
4: For use as a class mathematics reference tool.
