Description
This set of posters creates a powerful Number Line from 0 to 10. Each poster includes the following:
1: Numerals
2: The Number Name spelt out
3: Egg Boxes (Tens Frames) & Cubes
4: Firefighter Esme climbing (and counting) the rungs on her Ladder
Note: For the numbers from 0 to 20, there is a separate Number Line which uses two egg boxes and a longer ladder. This is also available for download.
Ideas for Use:
1: Printing out, trim and display as a number line in the classroom.
2: Comparing: What’s is the same and what is different when you compare the ladder image and the egg box image? What do they tell us about each number?
3: Utilise the powerful connections between this Number Line and the Number Fun Image Cards and Number Posters (available as separate downloads). Children can match the cards to the correct poster and to the number line and explore the properties of number in greater depth.
