2-D Shapes: Rectangle, Square, Circle and Triangle.
3-D Shapes: Cube, Cuboid, Square, Pyramid, Cone and Cylinder.
For each shape there are multiple images. These importantly include shapes from different perspectives, images from everyday life and shapes in different orientations.
The 2-D shape posters encourage children to spot these shapes in their environment. The 3-D shape posters include space for you to add photographs from your environment (or they can be trimmed on the dotted line).
Ideas for Use:
1: Print out and display and interactive use within your classroom.
2: Place the image on your interactive whiteboard and discuss each shape in turn as a class.
3: Take photographs of these shapes in your environment and add them to the posters.
